ROUND TABLE TALES || Ser Galahad

Fiction (12-18) Young Adults   •   04 Nov 2025

The purest of Arthur’s knights, Sir Galahad was the son of Sir Lancelot and Elaine of Corbenic, born of a mystical union destined by the Grail’s power. From a young age, Galahad was marked by an aura of divine grace. He was brought to Camelot and placed in the Siege Perilous, the seat at the Round Table reserved only for the knight destined to achieve the Holy Grail.

Galahad was distinguished not only by his martial skill but by his complete purity of heart. He resisted all worldly temptations and approached each quest with unwavering faith. His journey was less about battle and more about spiritual transformation.

During the Grail Quest, Galahad succeeded where others failed. He witnessed divine visions, performed sacred miracles, and healed the maimed King Pelles. He was the only knight to behold the Grail in its entirety. Upon achieving his goal, Galahad prayed for release from the mortal world, and his soul ascended to Heaven in peace.

Galahad’s story does not end in war or tragedy but in transcendence. He remains a symbol of spiritual perfection, embodying the ideal that true strength lies not in the sword, but in the purity of one’s heart.
